Baker & Company, longest established Independent Financial Advisors in Cirencester, was created in 1984 by Mick Baker whose banking background inspired him to set up a business where he could give fully independent financial advice. He has been successfully assisting clients improve their finances and protect their families ever since.

Due to the increasing demand for independent financial advice and the need for a totally unbiased impartial service, John Townsend joined the practice in 2003 having himself gained over 25 years experience within the financial services sector.

Financial Services Diploma qualified and currently studying to attain Chartered status, John became Director of Baker & Company in 2007.

As a result of the level of investment and pension business seen by Baker & Company Mick and John are ably assisted by three support staff, Sue, Debbie and Jo, to ensure that all clients receive a first class service and are treated fairly and consistently by the brokerage.
